The International Single Window Conference is slated for next 5-7 November 2008 in Dakar, ahead of the 13th UN/CEFACT Forum schedule the following week in Saly, Senegal.
Staged at the initiative of the Senegalese government, in collaboration with UN/CEFACT and several international partners, the Conference is meant to be a platform of exchanges on the Single Window Concept gathering delegates from the different regions of the world, representatives of countries boasting a Single Window experience and organisms promoting the implementation of the Single Windows, and international experts. This first edition is expected to enable participants to have a clear-cut idea on the concept and delve into the various implementation approach.
